Starship SN8

Certainly more went right than wrong with the test. Seemed to make altitude, glide, final flip etc, just seemed like needs a bit more thrust on landing and they should be good to go.

Add a few more raptors and problem solved says a non rocket scientist

That was AWESOME! I am sure expensive as well. I am sure they got some great data but I bet a perfect landing would have been preferred. LOL......

This is rocket science. Highly advanced stuff. It's bound to go wrong the first couple of times. It happens with new aircraft designs all the time too. Considering that Chuck Yeager recently died, so many of his peers died in crashes back then. That's what happens with new technology. People aren't used to it yet, so there's the human factor, not every variable is known yet, so lots of room for Murphy to come into play.

HOLY S**TBALLS!

That has got to be the most Gonzo-Crazy thing I've ever seen in aerospace development.

Between this and vaccines, like Apollo 8 in 1968, science is tilting the balance of a total s**t year in the 11th hour.
