Stand in switches

I have an external switch connected to my FC6 to take care of switching between layouts. I know I can do this on the FC6 itself, I prefer to have a dedicated switch.
Onto my problem
In layout five button 1 I’d have scenes
When I try to programme this
Setup-FC controllers- stand in switches
Layout 5 - Switch 1 it doesn’t go there it toggles between preset 1 & 2
Originally I had the new beta firmware even going back to 19.01 has not changed anything
Not sure where I’m going wrong
I’ve actually set this up prior

You're not doing anything wrong. This is a known bug and it will be fixed in the next release.
