Stacking switch controls? Multiple channels on one button press

The common solution suggested for these sorts of things tends to be "use scenes". Scenes are not really a great solution when you think of things in terms of channels available to you for various things.

For example: consider a logical grouping of drive+amp+cab that change channels in tandem. And in the same preset I could group my output "space" by grouping chorus+delay+reverb. And maybe I have a set of front end effects channels to as well such as wah+phaser.

You could accomplish any combination of these amp/space/frontend effects with 3 switches set to toggle channels on multiple blocks concurrently. Doing the same thing with scenes would be considerably more work.
