SPIDIF to ADAT conversion

Still researching the AXE III.
I would be recording into an Apollo Twin Dual processor which has the ADAT optical in.
My question is about going from SPIDIF on the AXE III into the ADAT optical in on the Apollo. ( I want to use the Apollo w all the software I have on that so using the AXE III direct to Pro Tools isn’t the best option).
What are people using to convert?

at least on mine, AFAIK, optical in on the Twin is not ADAT, but SpDIF, and can be connected to th III using any coax to optical converter like this

The big brothers of the Twin. Apollo 8, have ADAT opiticsl in/outs. In addition to coax Spdif, probly is where confusion is.

I was wondering about this a couple months ago. Gonna keep my eye on this thread to see the solutions!

Yes it’s NOT the coaxial cable hookup. That’s where the confusion is. At least for me.

Yes and I gave you the answer to that above, use an adapter.

Doing the same thing now with my III. Works perfectly.
