I want to obtain a corrective IR that matches my Celestion Century Vintage (with extended frequency range) with my Greenback. The reason I want this is that I want my home cabinet with Century Vintage to sound "the same" as my live cab with Greenbacks by adding an IR when using the home cab. What would be the best approach for this?
I am thinking that by putting the two cabs side by side and a mic some meters away and doing a tone match could be an option. Another option would be to shoot an IR for each cab from a distance and then adding the inverse Century Vintage IR to the Greenback may be more accurate. Any thoughts?
