IIRC, StewMac has them. Search for push pull pot, pic should help you ID them. They have 250k and 500k short shaft and 500k long shaft for Les Pauls and other thicker-topped guitars.

Not at all...even if with the years going by they're hanging a bit lower nowadays...just thinking it really isn't a very operational solution. No sweat !

Looks like the old "contemporary strat" design from the early 80s. I have one of those in the Squier model.

There, apparently, is no such beastie on the push-push side, but these push-pull ones are very smooth and pull up more easily than most, and feature a full-size CTS pot to boot....

Does anyone else hate push-pull switches on control knobs? Don't like pulling them up with a pick in my hand.

Much prefer push-push, but for some reason they're far less common, especially on production guitars.

Just had those put in my Suhr... Hopefully they are robust!

it's 250 or 500 so no. You can use a four poll megaswitch and a resistor so the single coils see 250 and the HB gets 500 ,gets more complicated though.

If its a push push go easy on it the ones available are pretty bad.

Here is the Suhr HSS with auto coil tap in pos 4 and a resistor to make the pot value correct.
you could adapt it to work with a push pull.
