I have sore fingers right now too. Been learning some Guthrie Govan stuff and my calluses are almost gone because of those crazy bends.
I use this thing called QuickCallus that helps a bit, but after some serious practice my fingers hurt!

Do you file those down? I find it's easier to play when the fingertips are tough, but smooth. Grooves/ruts in the skin and flaking calloused skin that catches on strings limits my ability to manipulate the guitar strings.

Try a lighter touch on the strings. It is easier on the fingers and the skin.
