Just loving the tones I'm getting these days with my Axe FX II XL.

Combined with my favorite Strat (YJM signature Fender, Seymour Duncan 'Fury' pickups) it just works so well.. smooth with just the right amount of bite when you dig in.

Starts off pretty mellow... but doesn't stay that way for long

I recorded this for my biggest fan and the person who bought me my first guitar many years ago, it's Mothers Day here in Ireland today

Thanks! And yeah, that's a Cintiq 22 HD Touch, my day job is working as an animator (CG) so I use that for my work and also for drawing. I have it on an Ergotron arm so I can bring it down into my lap when I work but when I'm recording music I push it up out of the way. What's cool with it is that it's a touch screen too, so I can move sliders on the mixer in my DAW without having to pick up a mouse or stylus
