small stage stereo monitor

For the average player that plays ever so often on small stages and wishes to buy a small stereo monitor to hear themself out and not relying on the PA of the venue and to play at home what are his options? Does that even exist?

If you don't need very much stage volume, contact MOKE ....

He built an enclosure for a pair of Equator D5 Monitors that looks outstanding ! And what's not to love, studio quality sound, full stereo reproduction, etc; etc;

I even bought a pair, but the 'live' act that I was planning on using them for never came to fruition ....

I haven't thought of that option to use studio monitors for stage use but the only thing I would make me wonder about that setup is that the studio monitors tend to be very directional and are ment to be used in a certain distance from one to the other and that same distance to the persons ears so for stage might not be that good maybe?
