Slide Guitar compressor settings

Does any one have any suggestions for a good basic starting point for compressor for playing slide? Never really had that much experience with compressors. Had a jangle box once but never really could deal with the noise when engaged.
 
You might want to put two studio compressors in series...that's how Lowell George and others go their "infinite sustain" sound. One squashes the signal good, the second takes that and sustains it. Experiment, have fun!
 
I like 'pedal 2' and studio. I find that if I edit from the front of the unit and look at page 2 where you can see visually see amount of gain reduction that I'm able to get it to behave the way I want to more quickly.

Anyone have any insights about which ratio, knee, etc. work well for slide. If anyone could post a block or preset, I'd be very grateful.
