Skype guitar lessons

I'm looking for a guitar teacher that can give lessons over Skype. I've been playing guitar for decades and want to learn from a different perspective. I play OK and know some theory, like to play rock. My favorite players are more in the style of Steve Lukather, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert etc.. I can't play like them but I strive for that style.

Carol Kaye. Look her site up. You will be surprised what this old lady (her words, not mine!!) can teach you. She's a legend, and a friend. It isn't crazy tapping and speed picking, but she can show you jazz and theory that ended up on thousands of recordings. If you want to expand, here's a way. Tell her the Chief sent you.

Check out Doug Doppler. I studied with him (in person) for a couple years. He is a Joe Satriani student and actually took over Joe's students back in the day when he got too busy to teach.

Great guy, great player, really great teacher.

Dave Martone does Skype lessons and definitely speaks shred.

He has some stuff on YouTube that you can check out to get an idea of his playing/teaching style.
