Damn, I knew this might be wrong...
but I am addicted to the polymode of the polytune
I agree, that's why I use a Polytune Clip, it's small, quick, accurate and offers polymode...

Oh, only one board but three tuner...
Exactly. I was up to the boat anchor stage at one point. What was I thinking!? Now, I just carry the AX8 and two DVP4 pedals (volume and wah) in a Mono Kontroller bag... and that's it! Amp in other hand, guitar on back. Easy load-in/out and setup. And it sounds FABULOUS!This is why I'm not putting my AX8 on a board....before I know it, I'll have a large footprint on stage and more weight to carry. "Keep it simple" is going to be my approach....AX8 + EV5 expression pedal.
I've been following this mantra since I got the AX8 when it was released and it's working out. Fight footprint creep! This is why I'm not putting my AX8 on a board....before I know it, I'll have a large footprint on stage and more weight to carry. "Keep it simple" is going to be my approach....AX8 + EV5 expression pedal.
Which pedalboard is that?We moved into our new rehearsal space yesterday. Time for a new rig pic
New Here's my post about it
Show your beautiful AX8 rigs here.
That's some seriously good work. Well doneSo "small and light weight" (#899) is history...
After adding a wireless and an external foot switch for boost to my setup, both requiring 9V supply, I had to many devices an cables loose on the floor. So I made a simple board from plywood, which has a main power switch, 2 IEC AC outlets for my FRFR monitor and some future needs. And it hides the 9V AC/DC adaptor and all the cables underneeth:

I'm aware that the AC wiring needs some additional housing, thats's work in progress...
In case I might need 12V DC or whatever in the future, I installed 4 AC outlets under the board for additional AC/DC adaptors...
