Hello everyone. My first Post here. Th elast couple of days i went through a lot of Threads here.
For the last 10 Years i have used my Diezel VH4 for everything. From Clean to Supergain stuff. I play in a Metallica Coverband and so the sounds i want to create are fairly simple.
Im thinking of buying a Fractal solution for quite some Months now as I think it is the only way to create what i want to hear in my head. I have tried a Kemper and wasnt so happy with that. When i play at home i use PositiveGrid BiasFX (im more happy with that as with the Kemper). But i want my sound to sound more realistic and IMO the only way to get this is to get a Fractal. But im not sure which one to get. AxeFXIII or FM3.
Like i said before i use the Diezel from Clean to Lead.
Clean just with a little Chorus, Reverb and Delay, also a variation with the "The Memory Remains" sound (2 Octaves up)
Rhythm is dry
Lead with a little Delay
I guess the simplest way as far as i understand is to use Scenes right?
The reason i would like to get a Fractal is to cut down my Gear for Shows (which are not really happening at the moment).
Right now my Gear is like this
Diezel VH4
5U Rack (Furman, Voodoo Lab GCX, Rackdrawer with some Pedals)
Diezel 2x12 Cab
Pedalboard (Voodoo Lab GCP, Shure GLXD, Dunlop Dime Wah)
I would like to keep the Cab as for my Sound on Stage and for optical reasons.
Any Information is helpfull and any Opinion is helpfull aswell.
