Short scale?

I mostly play Fender 25.5" scale and love the twang and snap compared to Les Paul or PRS. Recently, though I tried a 24" Fender DuoSonic in a local store and noticed there are some riffs and chords that I could play on it that I can not do on 25.5" or even Les Paul. So I am thinking about getting a 24" or shorter for the collection. I have only been able to find the Duo Sonic and Mustang locally. I'd really like to try a Jaguar, but haven't seen those in stores.

Anyone have any love for short scale guitars and if so, any favored models?

Seriously though I enjoy playing a short scale every now and then but don’t own one.

As in many things nowadays, love for short-scales appears to be in limited supply.

I have a Warmoth 7/8 scale strat that I love.

I have a 2017 Squier VM Jazzmaster that is short scale .

Besides needing to replace the bridge with a Jaguar bridge and some copper tape shielding, this is great.

I thought Jazzmasters were all 25.5" ? Squiers are shorter?
