Setting Up The Tuner On An External Switch

I'm having a hell of a time. Can't seem to figure out how to setup the tuner to work on an external switch. I'm using a Boss FS-6 connected to Switch 1+2 jack on an FC6 via TRS cable. Tap Tempo was easy.

it's best to use a Stand-In switch for this:

Never needed to use a stand-in switch, but I did watch that video. Man, that looks very easy! Nice job @chris!

For tap tempo I assigned tempo to FC1 SW1, was hoping I could simply assign tuner to FC1 SW2. Can't do that. I knew about stand-ins but didn't think I needed them. This was a big help, and I got it - thanks Chris!

Bad video!! My goal was to have fewer switches and pedals on the floor, and now I'm convinced I need this!
