Setting Up A Wet and Dry Signal/Track in Logic X

I have few questions regarding recording in Logic Pro X for those experienced in recording with the Axe-Fx (II XL+) via USB:

1. How do you set up both a wet and dry signal/track?

2. When setting up the track do you choose the option for Input 1 or Input 1 and 2?

3. Once you have the signal recorded what is the process to re-amp the dry signal/track?

4. Assuming that the "dry" signal /track is intended for experimentation of re-amping (amps and cabinets), when you record the wet track do you generally bypass the effects and add them back later during the mix as is traditionally done, using this track as simply the amp and cabinet?

Thanks!

To record both wet and dry, simple select you axefx as your soundcard in logic. Input 1+2 will then be your wet signal and 3+4 are two identical dry signals at DI level.
In regards to reamping, simply search youtube for Axefx reamp or similar, and it will be explained better than I can
