Sounds interesting.
Actually I would suggest less items on the screen (or the option to display from 3 to XX items).
Apart from that, it would increase the quality of life if this is a dedicated "Preset" mode with special foot switch options (like the looper functions). I could imagine that it would be nice to assign a "Left", "Right", "Up", "Down" and "Select" function to the foot switches (using tap hold, that shouldn't be a problem).
Or: "simply" displaying the preset view as stated above, but using a switching concept similar to the "PRESET" Layout. This essentially behaves the same as "PRESET", but you get a screen indication about the chosen bank, as well as the possibility to see what is available in the next X banks. This would be an UI only upgrade, and may be easier to achieve.
