Seeking opinons on mics Jimmy Page may have used.

I've been listening to Zeppelin 1 and 2 over the weekend and decided to take a stab at one of JP's guitar sound. For whatever reason I started messing around with Whole Lotta Love off of the second album. I've read a ton of stuff on this subject but I haven't found anything on the mics he may have used. That leaves me to guesstimate what was available in 1969.

Also lets not get into the amp debates. That's been beat to death. :) From what I've read over the years he was into recording small amps and micing instruments correctly instead of using eq's to get the sound (with exceptions obviously). Anyone care to list what microphones may have been used?

from a Interview:

GW: One music-oriented question before we move on to "Houses of the Holy": Tell
me how you got that sound on Black Dog.

Page: We put my Les Paul through a direct box, and from there into a mic
channel. We used the mic amp of the mixing board to get distortion. Then
we ran it through two Urie 1176 Universal compressors in series. Then
each line was triple-tracked. Curiously, I was listening to that track
when we were reviewing the tapes and the guitars almost sound like an
analog synthesizer.

..... In fact, the first Zep disc from 1969 showed him using a Telecaster and Supro
amp, plus a Fender 800 pedal steel, the violin box, a Vox wah-wah, and a Sola-Sound
