Seeing Vai tonight....

Saw him the 15th in NH. Awesome show. electric harp player was cool.best show I've been to in a long time.The theater they played in sounded great ,loud ,but clean.Was cool when he came out with the lighted suit,all the fog and that alien guitar:D My wife said it was the best show she ever when to,and she doesn't even listen to Via:D
 
hey guys! AWESOME SHOW! the show started at 7:30. he went on at 8 sharp and played till 11. I can't say for sure, but I think he used an amp in the axe-ii for at least one song. It sounded "Mesa-ish". definitely darker than the Legacys. However, I think had some issue with his MFC or expression pedal. His tech came out, they talked. After that song, Steve turned it over to Dave and left to change his clothes. The tech came back out and pulled out something from the MFC and power cycled the axe. All good after that. Though Eddie's my guy, Vai is a true showman and a master conductor. Oh, he plays pretty good too!
