Searching for a emotional lead tone

I'm trying to achieve a tone that has that "octave above the note" -feel that a real Bogner XTC has, a fun singing tone. Mesa Studio22 does something similar too. Thick harmonics or something, I don't know.

I liked both but the first more mellow part of soft-lead was my favorite. Was that part having a bit turned down guitar volume or just softer played? What guitar was used?

I liked the tone and feel of this a lot. Would love more info - guitar, string gauge, amp and cab used, etc. I assume you're playing with your fingers - no pick, correct?

Heavily tweaked Bogner red to get softness, and JCM800 for some extra bite. IR is Ownhammer Studio Marshall CB L-BB SS Median. Guitar in this one was Suhr S1, tone on 3 and then on 10 on the brighter parts, volume on 10 all the time.

Hmm. I'm on 15.06 firmware?

The tone depends heavily on the guitar, with my humbucker equipped Ibanez RG, this one becomes super bouncy and dark, smooth and fun. With Suhr it's more balanced. The bounciness requires some oomph from the pickups, strat pickups give a totally different result.
