On my old behringer FCB1010 board there was a great function for some switches. They had 3 states.
On
off
don´t care.
I miss the third one when programming function switches or scene controllers or even presets.
Then you can change scene or preset without your delay turning on or off when you don´t want it.
If you want it to be on or off then just program that. But if you want it to still be on or off from the previous scene/preset then use the "don´t care"-state.
What I´m saying is:
Sometimes I may want to change stuff without changing the delay state.
