Any equivalents to these units?

Or any tips for bass or bass vi tones?

Looking for The Cure "fascination street" vibe.

Or an old school clunky P-bass thing!

Hah. No. Welcome to my frustrations! :)

No, but you can get ballpark ish. I've put a lot of hours into trying to get a good SansAmp tone out of it. Things fall apart as soon as I plug in a different bass, though.

I would suggest just starting a whole lot simpler - P bass into the Ampeg SVT model (which you'll want to tweak *a lot*), try the OwnHammer 4x10 IRs, and get super comfortable with the compressor. That'll get you a good 80% of the way there... the rest is just more tweaking in the amp block mostly.
