Routing Phantom Power

Looking to route my mic line from a mixing console, through the III’s input 2 output 2 for effects and was wondering if the III can safely pass phantom power that's supplied from the mixing console.

Your phantom power should be only required between the mixer's mic preamp and your microphone. It will not be passed downstream to the Axe III.

I’d recommend connecting the mic directly to the mixer (with phantom power), and using the Axe FX as an insert on the channel. That’s what I do with a Behringer X32 Rack. What kind of mixer is it?
