Kim Mitchell's Rock n Roll duty for Canada Day. One of the most underrated guitarists around. JCM 800 X/Y, 2 gain levels, X/Y Cabs, stereo 4x12's, plus Larry Mitchells AC20 LM. 3 scenes 1) Rhythm 2) solo and fills 3) outro solo, Doubling delay, filter block for tonal shaping, 1/4 note delay for solo.

Played on a Strat-style guitar with hot Humbuckers. 1980 Ibanez Blazer BL500 with Ibanez V2 pickups.

Go For a Soda is my "let's try this clean tone out" go-to song. :)
Kim Mitchell is one of my all-time favourite guitar players. the clean part for Go For Soda sounds like a strat with bridge and neck pickups on together or it's his workhorse guitar "Blue" with bridge and neck PAF's split. Here is a quick attempt on the tone for the II XL+, it's probably 75% there. If you can improve on it or make suggestions I would appreciate it. Cheers, Perry aka Techboy57/Beaver Leader
