Its interesting that while working out today I thought it would be fun to listen to only Earth, Wind and Fire tunes.

I remember that groove well, Shining Star was one funky tune. RIP, Maurice, your music lives on.

Great grooves, wonderful horns arrangements, those bass lines.... Maybe a little too slick and smooth, but oh so funky. White was a genie.

RIP Maurice. You were truly a visionary. EWF is an institution. One of the best live bands ever.

That's the Way of the World is one of the great songs of the 70s, and EWF is one of the all time great American Bands. So many great tunes - September, Shining Star, etc. I don't listen to Soul/R&B that much, but you can't ignore the greatness of EWF. RIP Maurice White.
