His playing and singing with Crimson and Asia was always stellar; my favourite JW record is the debut UK album with Holdsworth on guitar and Bruford on drums. Sublime!

I loved his playing. It's still freaky to think of him playing bass and singing this tune at the same time, due to the odd syncopation between his bass line and his vocal line:

me and my band played support for Asia I think 15 years ago or so...they were all great guys...we were hanging out at the bar afterwards until 3 AM having fun...to be honest, I can´t remember this last part of the story...my bandmates informed me today.

Such a great song! The counting on the verses is crazy. I don't know how Wetton sang and played bass to that live. Same goes with Easy Money. The vocal part is 7/4 and the rhythm section plays in 4/4 under that.
