ahh, sorry, i thought i was done with the questions. 1 more please.....

i really love the reverb hold feature from FW17 i think it was? anyway, will this be possible on the FX-8, and if so, will it just be a matter of holding down the footswitch, but then how does that work with X/Y press and hold?

that was my concern. it seems only having 2 external switch/expression inputs is a bit limiting?! Would have loved to have seen 4 like on the MFC-101.
i am not sure how i am going to be able to control volume, wah, whammy, reverb hold and things like delay/reverb mix etc. via external expression pedal when there are only 2 inputs. :-/
 
You can also use a scene controller to engage/disengage the reverb hold.
