Reverb Hold - is there a way to "flush the buffer"?

I'm using a II XL, and have a preset with a reverb hold function which works pretty much the way I want it to (thanks Simeon for providing the initial preset with the right block and behavior). However, my issue is that when I switch to that preset and activate the reverb block with the hold, it seems to already contain some tones in its buffer. I'd like to start clean and not have it produce anything at all until I activate the two controllers via an expression pedal. Oddly enough, even after playing all evening, if I come back to this preset, it still "remembers" the last ambiant sounds it emitted... I have to actually power-off my Axe to get it to clear. So is there a "clear buffer" command of some sort, or some parameter that initializes it?

I think if you turn the reverb time all the way down and then back up, it will clear it out. It's been a while since I've messed with the hold features though.
