Restore factory Bank A, B, C Question regarding firmware

Regarding the ability to restore factory preset banks.

I purchased my AXE FX 2 with Firmware 10.02 installed. I currently have FW 14.03 My question is: Are the internal flash memory factory banks updated with each firmware update or do I need to download the new "firmware appropriate" factory banks when they are released?
Does that make sense?
I restored "factory bank A" from the internal flash memory and noticed a few presets would clip the output. That got me thinking that the internal memory was originally optimized for the firmware that it came with.

If you restore a factory bank from the Axe itself then yes the factory bank version is the same as the firmware with which your axe was delivered. In your case the factory bank version is the version optimized for firmware 10.
