Reseting the -6db from USB Playback??

I agree that it has not been possible to play along hot tracks without clipping the output, but this change has it made really annoying to record guitars and monitoring through headphones, as the headphone Signal drowns out the DAW- Signal completely. To record as hot as possible I dont want to lower/change my preset volume.
Pls help, is there any way to remove the -6db

In these days of true 24bit you shouldn't really record that hot anymore!
Aim for -12dbFS

-18dbfs... Apart from being useless (recording "hot"), it fucks all your faders in the DAW... You wanna leave room for all the tracks with all the faders at 0. It should sound decent with all at 0. If not, record again. That will force you to do things right from the begining, otherwise you wont make any decent mix.

FWIW the new settings made the unit far more usable and balanced for me.
