I've heard some very killer Van Halen-ish clips on youtube of the real thing I'm dying to hear this. amp sim.
I'm not upgrading from 7.0 yet (I love what I'm currently getting and everything is working for me so not yet,looks like there are bugs being flushed so I'll wait)

That looks like zachman, is it?
 
I literally opened the amp, added a cab at random, and then a stock verb. This is a zero tweak example: (I might have upped the drive and turned the treble knob)

 
Cool! sounds pretty freaking good, not as bright as a VH tone but I bet it'll be pretty easy to dial in
