Replicating Mix Setting from GR5 to Axe IIII

Basically I want to copy these mix settings from guitar rig 5 into the axe fx iii

I know the Axe FX III's Delay and Reverb Blocks have their own mix laws and I get confused trying to figure out how to convert from GR5to Axe

If anyone can help and show how it was done it'd be greatly appreciated

Delay mix conversion for mix settings less than 50% would be the Wet to Dry signal ratio in GR5 (Wet% / Dry%) multiplied by 100. In this case (20/80) x 100 = 0.25 x 100 = 25% for the delay block mix.

At 50% mix, the settings are the same. Wet and dry are at equal levels.

For mix settings higher than 50% it would be ( 1 - (dry / wet) ) x 100

Reverb block has a normal 50/50 blend mix control, so the setting would be the same as GR5.

Thank you so much I was hoping you would answer this but didn’t want to tag you specifically

Much appreciated , thanks a million again 🤘🏻

The wet/dry or dry/wet value needs to be halved in both of those formulas. The Axe-FX mix value should be 12.5% in your first example.

I see because if we did 50d/50w on the GR5 Psychedelay

[(50d/50w)*(1/2)]*100=
[1*(1/2)]*100=
[(1/2)]*100=
50% on the Axe Delay Mix

I we didn’t include the half it would be 100% on the Axe Fx Delay block which wouldn’t sound comparable to GR5’s 50/50 Psychedelay Mix

Thanks for the correction ! @Bakerman

I know it’s important to just use my ears for finding the right sound but I really wanted to get the formula correct
