Removing Fade Outs in Logic 9

Does anyone know how to remove fade outs effectively / match their volume to the usual volumes of the tracks in Logic 9?

are you talking about fade outs that you have applied with the fade tool? if so, select the fade tool and alt-click on the fade.

No, I'm talking about fade outs on album tracks. There are some amazing outro solos and some of them are too covered up by the fade outs... I'd like to change that, so I can enjoy all these solos in full length, without having to turn the volume knob gradually up as the end gets nearer.

Well you can normalise or change the gain of a selection of an audio file, but because a fade out follows a curve that wouldn't work. Better to just use track automation to draw an increase in volume along the region that fades out.
