Remove amp in Amp Block Y state?

I feel like an idiot even asking this question, but I can't find an answer in the manual, Wiki, or anywhere else, so what the hell. The Y state of the amp block seems to have the '59 Bassman there by default. Is this by design, and if so is there any way to remove it so there's no amp at all in the Y state? My thought is that it's just using CPU resources but I can't find any way to make it so there's no amp selected in the Y state. Thanks.

It is not using CPU resources in the Y state(you are still only running one amp plus the amps have a dedicated CPU), there is no purpose in trying to delete it. It is the bassman by default because in code it is the first amp. So amps already have an entire CPU dedicated to them they have little effect on the other processor.

AFAIK, the block resources are allocated anytime it is loaded in the grid. The bypass and x/y states have no effect on cpu.
