I've always used a tone match block in my (LR Baggs Lyric) acoustic presets, but only today did I bother to do a new tone match in live mode, which requires a mic preamp plugged into axe input 2. The result is even better! The live mode is higher resolution, and also it seems logical that since the axe receives exactly the same playing, it makes a better match. Now I'm thinking about replacing the Lyric with a worse sounding piezo.. Why? A piezo would be more feedback resistant, and I trust the Axe to make the tone tolerable. :roll:encouragement:
