Relay Switching on a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100

Sorry for the redundancy of this question but I just want to be certain how I'm hooking up my rig. I contacted Marshall and they stated that the amp switches tip to sleeve. Does that mean I need a TRS from the FX8 to a TS to the amp?? or TRS to TRS or TS to TS. I'm very confused!!! Thanks

Just wondering if you found answers to your questions about what cables to use as I’m currently in the same boat as you were in 2018! I have a jvm combo with fx8. Not sure what cables to use for relay switching!
