Reduce or eliminate guitar on pre-recorded audio track

Sometimes it is hard to locate a stem track for a particular song. Is there a way using a DAW (I currently use Logic Pro X) that I could reduce the gain/volume of a pre-recorded song for my own personal use. I am just looking for a way to "spice" up practicing by putting the pre-recorded guitars more in the background for a track to practice with. Anyone have any ideas? @Mark Day? @2112?

Dokken "In my Dreams" for one. Ratt, "Slip of the Lip" is another.

I could only find one Ratt song, Round and Round, and no Dokken at all. Which is actually a real shame.

I would use iZotope RX. It has some unique tools to remove certain instruments.

Are you sure? I see 39 Dokken tracks and 13 for Ratt.

You obviously have better places to look. With my meager resources, that's all I found.
