Rectifier popping noise when turning the High-knob [fixed]

I experienced problems with the "Recto2 Red Modern" type: if played and the "High" knob was turned, there appeared random popping in the sound.
This is only the case if the knob is turned, not otherwise.

I am currently using FW 4.01.

I know there was an issue some time ago, but I couldn't find the thread - could someone backup this behavior?

Some amps have complicated input drive circuitry that requires a lot of calculations. Adjusting the Input Drive control can result in crackling as the time required to recalculate the network is long. Don't attach a controller to the Input Drive on these amps.

There's a similar response by Cliff regarding Dizzy amps and Bass knob. Maybe a similar phenomenon might be at play here with the Recto?
