"Recording" the external pedal

Hi to you all !
I got quite a problem.
I have an exp pedal, used for the wah.
I'm recording my dry signal as well as the wet, then i reamp later on.
But, if i use the wah, the dry signal is not affected, and if i reamp, i need to use the expression pedal during the recording to have the wah effect (on the wet signal)
Is there any way the dry signal can be recorded with whatever i do with the expression pedal ??
Tahks !

Pedal port data can't be recorded, but you could route/pan a clean wah + amped tone as separate L & R signals. Another option would be expression data via MIDI, which could be recorded and sent back when reamping.

If you really wanted to capture Axe pedal port movement, you could record a constant synth tone in one channel w/ level controlled by pedal, then use an audio to MIDI CC envelope detector plugin.

Like Bakerman said you can record the MIDI CC of whatever external controller is assigned to wah into a MIDI track on your DAW then send that back to the axe when reamping.
