Recording the Axe FX into the scarlett

Is there something Im supposed to do with the axe fx in particular to record into an audio interface like the 2nd gen scarlett 2i4? Im going from the output of the axe into the front of the scarlett with a cabinet block, but the recordings sound like a patch with no cabinet and it sounds terrible. Any help would be great.

I dont think so, it's definitely staying in the green with the clipping indicator. Also I'm using audacity at the moment to record and its well within the limits of clipping on that as well. Now I can monitor through the scarlett and it sounds like the cabinet block is on there and everything is fine. Its only with recordings.
 
Maybe try running straight into the computer via the USB port and bypass the Scarlet completely. I have a Scarlett as well but when I recorded my CD, I ran everything out of my AxeFX straight into the computer via USB. I only used my Scarlett when I recorded vocals.
