So I got an axe ultra MKII for christmas as it's all I could afford and I love it except for having to use an audio interface instead of USB. I'm fairly new to recording my own stuff using a daw and even newer to ideas like DI and reamping. But I have a friend who is helping explain. My issue is this. I have recorded my di. I am trying to play it back to reamp thru the axe but I get this high pitched feed back sound when I turn the output volume up . This is how I have it set up.
Mono 1/8" jack on computer -> 1/4" front input on axe fx
Output 1 left of axe fx -> input 1 of presonus audiobook usb
AudioboxUSB to computer USB 3.0
Am I doing something wrong? Monitoring is off from what I can tell. There are no active microphones at all and i have output 2 of the axe running to my monitor.
I'd really love any help that people could offer. I dont want to get bummed out and not record but this is getting to be more trouble than it's worth. Any answers are greatly appreciated
