I want to record me playing over the metronome. I tried in iMovie but the computer doesn't put the metronome onto the recording. I'm using a macbook pro with AxeFX II as the input and output sound device, and Metronome (that's what app's name is). I use import in iMovie, with the Metronome on, and begin recording me playing with the metronome. But the metronome sound doesn't come into the recording and the guitar has got a lot of delay on it. How do I turn off or turn down the delay and other effects?
I'm recording pg. 16 of "Polyrhythms", while I learn and practice recording my guitar. I think I can do it, but I just need to do a couple of things.
1) Get metronome onto the recording
2) Turn off/down the effects
How do I?
Or should I use something other than iMovie?
