Recommended pad controller for ezdrummer?

Main use will be to add drum tracks for recording.The atom controller from presonus looks interesting and I have studio one 4 but there are many negative reviews. Is there a better option in the same price range?

I got one of these. Works great with the Toontrack libraries. Also fun to play around with the MPE stuff on other soft synths.

I had considered the Roli Seaboard Rise, but it's way more expensive, and the Buchla overlay makes punching in beats way easier because of the ergonomic layout.

A little over budget, but I got one of these to use with SD3. Banging on it with some real sticks is great when the urge hits.
