If I need a 6U rack, which one would be appropriate for an Axe-FX 3?

I would go with the SKB because of the weight, but if you have somebody to carry it around for you, go with audiopile

I bought the new SKB and it was too deep for me compared to my old SKB so i returned it and bought the 6 space Gator shallow- it’s perfect- light and sturdy like the old SKB’s.

I have the Gator and its fantastic. No complaints. I did try out the rolling SKB case but it was just WAY too deep. This one seems to be the best fit and weight for my uses.

I'm using the non-shallow version of the gator and it works great. room in the back for wireless and plenty of room for cables. I just toss the instrument cable, FC xlr, and the speaker cables in the back, drop em down at gigs. Not sure if the shallow is enough room but the build quality of the unit is passable, particularly for the price.
