Recommendations for power amp for studio monitors?

I have an older set of passive EVENT 20/20'S that I always liked, but at the time I was in a small apartment and they were just putting out to much low end. So I stopped using them, and packed them away. But now I'm in a much bigger space and would like to use them as a second set, but I don't have a power amp. Any recommendations on a good amp?

The ART SLA-2 is a pretty solid and good sounding unit that's sort of designed for this application.

I used one with my Axe Fx II and both a regular 2x12 cab as well as passive FRFR and had great results. Never used it with studio monitors...

Biggest cons are a) it is very deep (more than the Axe Fx II) and b) it is heavy for a 1U rack unit (but if you aren't carting it around you shouldn't care).
