Hello,
I would like to make my own custom IR because I want to capture how I would mic up a cabinet, not use someone else’s IR, -although some of them are great.
I still have my Axe fx 2 in case I need it to make an IR but I would need a great sounding room, cabinet and console from the studio as well a neutral tube or SS power amp in order to capture the IR. Ultimately I would like to find a studio with an engineer where they wouldn’t be making their first IR with me but have experience in this field so I can get the best sounding IR from my time and money invested in this.
Anyone have any recommendations in the NY/NJ Area?

I would bring my own amp head to the IR making session to ensure I get the same tone at my home studio with the created impulse response.
