Hi guys, I'm having a USB reamp issue with my axe FX II and particularly when using DI signals recorded elsewhere.
My bassist, who records at home, via a DI from his amp head to his sound card, sends me his recordings and when I want to re-amp them, I notice that there is already a 20 dB difference up than the original DI signals I get with my fractal.
Secondly, even if I lower the signal, It Sounds like the sound is not modeled the same as if I play with my own bass live, and you can hear it particularly on the Natural head AMP compression, you would think that the slaps or other hits are not compressed and it completely distorts his sound.
Obviously, I did not notice this same problem with the guitar cause I always record via the DI of the axe FX 2 and that signal is already adapted to its own Specs.
Has anyone had this kind of problem before?
