Re-amping issues with pro tools/ Axe Fx 2

Hey Guys,

I need assistance with re-amping, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but it may be to do with the world clock or routing, I am using a Mbox 3 pro as my interface, the Axe Fx 2 to send a wet tone and D.I signal via spdif cables and I’m using pro tools 9 as my DAW, I can record the D.I and wet signal fine via spdif but I can’t get a signal back from pro tools to my Axe Fxvia the Mbox 3 using spdif to re amp

The sample rate of the session file is 48khz, 24bit, clock source set to to internal on pro tools

Signal flow is a following for recording
- guitar

- I split signal in axe edit, D.I to the Left, Wet signal to the right

- Into Mbox 3 pro

- Select default spdif input 7 for wet signal in pro tools

- Select default spdif input 8 for D.I in pro tools

- hit record

- Records fine

Signal flow for re-amping

- change Axe fx settings to below

- main input: spdif/aes ( no input clock flashes then disappears after a second)

- word clock: spdif/aes in

- input mode 1: stereo

- input mode 2: stereo

- output mode 1: stereo

- usb/digi output source: output 1

Pro tools

- Solo mono D.I track set output to spdif 8 (I cannot see any input signal from Mbox to on the axe fx input display)

- create new track, enable record set spdif input to spdif 7

No matter what output or input I change on the mono track from the D.I or the re-amp track I can’t get any signal on my Axe fx, I think it is either to do with the world clock or how pro tools outputs spdif, any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m pretty stuck
