RCF NXSMA12 on it's way.... help on Initial Settings....

Hello everyone, just ordered the RCF yesterday,it's arriving tomorrow... I'm looking for advice from fellow RCF users on first time set-up and settings. I have a gig on Sunday and I'll be tweaking for the next 3 days...

Steps
1. Attach Axe-FX to RCF via XLR (or 1/4") cable
2. Turn on Axe-FX
3. Turn on the RCF
4. Adjust levels to taste
5. Rock

Unlike the Atomic FRFR or EV112p I didn't feel the need to compensate for EQ on the RCF. You may want to experiment with the RCF's Full-range/Sub switch if you feel the need to cut low-end.

If you use the RCF on the floor switch its lo cut on!

I use mine with low cut off but i cut the bass in the cab block around 130hz (personal IR)

I use mine on "Line" level. Still plenty loud!!!!! I "generally" leave the switch in the 'up' position for less bass.

Thanks everyone.... Just unpacked it and set it up for only 15 minutes, .... it sounds Incredible .!!! Lucky I have a slow weekend, only 1 gig instead of the usual 3, at least I'll have a couple of days free , as I see I have lots of Tweaking ahead of me. Sounds like I'll have to start from scratch...

I was using a Mesa 2-12 bottom
And a Rocktron Velocity 100 watt Power Amp... It sounded ok but way to trebly. I was never able to get a good sound out of it ... It's now for Sale

Going from guitar cabs to FRFR does mean starting from scratch, yes. ;-)
