Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack!

Fantastic. You nailed the light-gain guitar coupled with a powerful bass tone to fill out the low end. Great playing in terms of rhythm and feel, too.

Was the original recording that good?
Serious question. I don't remember liking it as much as I like that right there.

Not to take anything away from progmachine's cover, but I believe RATM's debut album is often cited as being among the best-produced albums ever, and is regularly used as a reference to set up and test audio systems.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I'm going to think of some more songs to cover!! :) Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome!

RATM had a big impact on me. I was in a band called Up-HuX over 15 years ago and our singer could sound just like Zach.

You did a great job covering that song. The playing and recording sounds amazing. What did you use to record the drums?

I suggest:
Killing In The Name
Viatnow or anything from Evil Empire
No Shelter
